The Best Battery Company, Inc. has been a recognized force in the Battery Distribution and Electrical Rebuilding industries for nearly 60 years. Founded by Roland Best in 1953, we began as a commercial and marine battery and auto electric location serving local customers in Baltimore. Three generations later, we remain proudly rooted in the community as one of the regions oldest family-owned and operated businesses. Today, we service customers from the Mid-Atlantic and all over, and our team has an average tenure with us of over 20 years, a testament to our culture and core values.

We offer only the BEST batteries for a range of applications. Our product offerings include a full range of heavy-duty batteries including: automotive, commercial, marine, UPS, floor scrubber, golf cart, lawn and garden, and power sport batteries. We are also one of the region's only distributors of Trojan™ Batteries, the leading manufacturer of advanced deep-cycle technology. We also remain one of the only Mid-Atlantic distributors for ODYSSEY® Dry Cell Batteries: a revolutionary design providing tremendous cranking power and deep cycle reserve power. The Best Battery carries a nationwide warranty through the Battery and Electrical Specialists Association (BESA.) We carry Green batteries; all used batteries are handled in an EPA approved manner with an emphasis on safety and environmental sustainability.

We have one of the largest custom remanufacturing shops in the country, as we proudly remain one of the area’s only rebuilders of starters, alternators, carburetors, generators, and DC and electric motors. We are Warehouse Distributors for BOSCH, Leece-Neville, Cole Hersee and ARCO, and an authorized GoodAll Repair Center.
